Nicaragua: a virtual paradise for animal lovers


For those of you who love animals, you must visit Nicaragua. The country boasts of diverse and amazing wildlife, including a huge variety of birds, fish, insects, and animals.

Here in Nicaragua you will find thousands of sea turtles in the pristine beaches. During night time, the sea turtles travel from the sea to the beaches where they dig their nests and return to the waters after laying their eggs there. 1) Nicaragua is located in Central America with the Caribbean Sea on the East, the Pacific Ocean on the West and Costa Rica on the South. Its total area is 130,668 sq. and is the largest country in Central America.

2) Nicaragua is made up of two words Nicarao and agua. It is believed that the Nicarao were the Indian tribe who occupied the shores of Lake Nicaragua and Agua is the Spanish word for water.

4) The main language that is spoken in Nicaragua is Spanish although natives living on the eastern coast speak Miskito, Sumo, Rama, and English Creole.
